Rubies, Saphires...other rare material. - Guild Wars Forums

Where can I find Rubies and Saphires?! I have only come across two with my 3 level 20 characters. Can you ever get either of these from an Expert kit?

No you can't. I got one of each in FoW, it may be possible to get them in UW too, but i don't know about that. If you wanna find one of those, you'll have to be, very very very very patient

I actually got 1 from a dwarf outside of Yak's Bend as a reward! That and one time in UW. I figured some of those demonic remains, murssat tokens, or other remains would ocassional expert salvage to something rare, but I guess not?
